Mortgage advice

No face-to-face appointment is required for mortgage work. We process most mortgage applications entirely based on phone and email conversations, which means less hassle for you, and faster mortgage approvals.

Mortgage arrangement fees are only payable when a full mortgage offer is secured, and are as follows:

  • Mortgages of £160,000+ = no fee payable
  • Mortgages of £100,000 - £159,999 = £295 fee
  • Mortgages under £100,000 = Sorry, at present we are not arranging mortgages under £100,000

Reduced fees apply in many circumstances (e.g more than one mortgage is being arranged, or a simple remortgage with certain lenders).

Your mortgage is the biggest debt you will ever have so picking the right one is important. With a long background in the financial industry, Wendy Cochran is a professionally qualified independent financial and mortgage adviser based near Dunfermline in Fife with clients across the UK. Getting mortgage advice can help you find the best mortgage deal for your circumstances, whether you are moving home, investing in buy to let property, or just looking to cut your monthly bills.

We will take the time to understand your situation, advise you on what mortgage types are likely to be available to you, and gather enough information to help find the best mortgage deal for you. We will then search the market for the best rate, taking into account all fees and conditions, and make a recommendation. If you agree we will then do all the mortgage application and arrangement for you.
